Need to cash some AUD denominated Amex Traveller's Cheque in Melbourne preferably without paying a fees. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Not being from MEL I would think trying Crown Casino and I would guess they would be able to make it happen for you.
 
Today? If you wait till Monday any Amex office will do it free.

Avoid any of the window exchange places like money exchange... they will charge a fee. Not sure about travelex but they likely will charge too.

Crown is where I would go if I wanted the money now. Unlikely to be a fee (but you never know). Otherwise if you're at aa hotel ask them.
