Whilst CBR is now short one tourist attraction (I moved to MEL and can fade into anonymity ) I wonder what you consider to be the two tourist attractions there?

As much as I am glad to be in MEL there are lots of tourist attractions in CBR.

Not necessarily what I consider the main tourist attractions, but the only two that ever really get talked about are Parliament House and Questacon (Yes, I know it has the war memorial etc. as well)

Have OJA parked at Gate 24 at present and I have to say she is looking tired, have not seen a plane before where the dirt highlights the panels!

Looks like many of the jets in China.. Though I guess age & pollutants also could be the issue.
Repaint &/or cut & polish appears well due..

I suspect she will be retired soon after QF5 to FRA ceases mid-April, so she's probably only got two months left in her anyway.

QF normally put their aircraft up for sale around 6 months out, she is not on the list.

Maybe there might be a few amongst us on AFF that could 'chip in" & buy her outright - (at a favourable price)..
The storage issue could be overcome with someone interested with a big shed..
We could then hold some meetings/events & do some true 'AFF Airways" status runs..

Could speculate but perhaps they have given up trying to sell and will just flog them for whatever scrap $ they can get? Or perhaps it does not work like that.
