It was noted alongside some new orders, with speculation the cancelling of one 787 came to the value of the new orders

It was also noted somewhere (can't recall where) that this dropping of a 787 was done at the end of 2012, and is simply being brought to light now.

Sam I read this somewhere too - saying it was all dine before Christmas but couldn't be announced until now after all the legalese paperwork was done with. Kind of makes sense - it's not like they cancelled a toaster order. I'm guessing some money/loans etc were involved.
