Hi there,

I have a problem with one of my trips in May 2013. In October 2012, I had redeemed points for MEL-SIN-CDG and then changed it to MEL-SIN-LHR a week later. There seems to be a technical glitch that the changes that I did have not been finalised. However, when I viewed the booking online, it appeared as if everything is fine.

A week later I rang up SQ to confirm all the changes as when I produced e-ticket (PDF) the flight details were all mixed up e.g. MEL-SIN is on 8th May while SIN-LHR is on 4th May while the details in booking section appear fine. I was informed that there was technical problem and they would honour this by processing the changes for me at a online rate so there is no additional deduction of my points. I would be refunded tax & surcharges for MEL-CDG flights and my credit card will be charge new fees for MEL-LHR. It has been 2 months since I first enquired about this changes of my booking and from what I can see on SQ website as well as my credit card statement, there is nothing change apart from the booking details is not viewable; however, the summary of this particular booking reference still appears on the first page under booking section. I called SQ last week and a lady promised to follow up and call me back before 5pm same day but she has not returned the call. I have also been sending message to them via their online form but no response. What should I do now? Keep calling them up? I don't want the end result to be that I don't get a seat for the flight that I have booked on a date that I want.

These issues now seem to be sorted out by the port of departure. I've had a couple of issues that have needed sorting and although I did the bookings via the website, one was referred to ZRH and another to BNE, and yet another has been sent to CDG.
