Just a quick one, I'm sure I flew on 'Lorikeet' VH-TJO the other day and saw it at Adelaide on NYE.

Aussieairliners.com indicates differently (can't post the link), suggesting the plane has been retired.

Am I mistaken?

Doesn't appear on the CASA civil aircraft register, another forum indicated that it has been retired and lives in the desert (long term storage).

What flight were you on?

TJO is retired. Retired from Qantas in February 2012 and is now a freighter (rego EI-STB)

I'm getting confused, it was 'coughatiel', and the reason I thought it had been in service mid-2012 was because a CSM friend had texted saying he was on it in about June. Obviously he was getting his pet parrots mixed up as well.

I thought I'd read here a while ago that TJJ had been retired as well, but I found myself on her again last week.

Stored and retired are two separate things. Generally the Qantas source can tell you which birds have left and which birds are still here

It did look like Tango hooks was going for awhile but she is still around, although with a few issues lately.

I know I've been on lorikeet at some stage in the last 20 years. But I don't think I've been on it since I've been keeping records over the last few years.
