I am doing this again on Tue and Wed. I.e. going to ASP on Tue and returning on Wed. Hope to get it as empty as you did. For my first one the DSC have already posted. It is a nice way to spend a couple of days travelling.

No episodes of Air Crash Investigations to choose from?

Great bit of Status running - nice to be solo in J both ways. I wonder if my JASA SYD-BRIS-DRW (for DSC) on Xmas Day will be the same? And will they wear Santa hats? It sounds like you will be well on the way to SG or even WP by the new year. Have fun!

Did a JASA status run CBR-Mel-HBA-SYD-CBR, service is all good, flight attendant very cheerful, even on the MEL-HBA leg CSM greeted everyone in J class after take off and send Christmas blessing again before landing, one by one. Glad to see QF flight attendant on full throttle and up against the fierce competition.

Currently in ASP half way through a DSC JASA, The CSM was talking to the woman in 1A (me 1D) and she said "I'm coming back with you". He was very surprised and she explained the whole concept of doing an MR etc. I then piped up that I was doing the same thing but would be staying the night.

I'll have the same FA back to SYD tomorrow. Hope we get the new 737 as well, I quite like it.

Another interesting thing about the trip from SYD-ASP, there was a bit of conversation between the FAs as we were taxiing and then a man came down to the front with a filled vomit bag. His lady friend had filled it. She was also sitting in the exit row so a quick call to the coughpit and we remained where we were for a couple of minutes whilst there was a seating reshuffle.

I've never seen this before and am glad the crew moved a person who wasn't fit to remain in the exit row.

Still think they could've taken the bag to the back rather than the front though.

But I thought J got offered everything first? ;)
