Exclusive preview screening for you and a guest

Before its Boxing Day 2012 release into Australian Cinemas, as a valued Platinum One member, Qantas invites you and a guest to an exclusive private screening of one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.

Les Misérables is a Cameron Mackintosh Production translated to the screen by Tom Hooper, the Academy Award winning director of The King's Speech. Featuring an all-star cast led by Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway, this cinematic adaptation of the musical phenomenon is an uplifting testament to the triumph of the human spirit.

Unfortunately I'll be flying at the time :(

Got the email offer as well. Might have gone if the offer had included child minding ;)

Wow - as my favourite musical, I'm very impressed with this offer! Even though I'm just a lowly WP and didn't receive the offer myself, it looks to be a fantastic film - so those lucky enough to be on the guest list, enjoy!

It's my fave too! I have already told people I am out of action on the 26th. I plan to see the film at one of the early morning nanna sessions. :)

I got that offer too for the 13th Dec. Quite impressive to get a screening two weeks before world wide release. And I actually might be in Brisbane that day.

Well manning the barricades would seem highly appropriate for the QF board given the pusht Dixon and co are planning!

Not really that impressive.... Advance screenings such as these occur all the time, it's just that most aren't invited to them. A small tip: Leave your phone in your car as they will make you check them as they are considered recording devices. To retrieve them afterwards is always a nightmare.

That's not to say it isn't a great benefit. I recently attended an advance screening hosted by Bulgari that was catered by ARIA at the Dendy Opera Quays. The movie was great, but coughtails and canapés always make the experience better!

Wonder if they'll have this as a movie offer in the QP/J lounge, like they do for many other movies then... just not an advance screening like P1's!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I'm down for two seats at the Perth advance screening... actually looking forward to it - haven't been to a cinema in a few years....

That's because you spend too much time doing domestic economy flights earning P1!

I was happy to receive it. Not really a musical fan, but loved the book.
I'll be at the 13th screening in Bris.

Has anyone recevied tickets or anything else? I registered via the link in the email before the RSVP deadline. It seemed to work fine and accept the registration. However haven't received anything further about it. Are they supposed to sent out tickets? Or do they just put your name on a list and you show up?

After you registered it said "thanks for registering. Please print out this confirmation and bring it to the screening, along with your P1 membership card".

Oh, I must have missed that. I'll have to give them a call see what can be done.
