Posting in another thread got me thinking (well... I've been thinking this for a while). Wouldn't it be nice if we can do the following on QF.com and therefore not having to ring the call centre:
- link PNRs; and
- cancel award flights and have the points refunded (rather than points converted to $)

What functionality would you like to see on QF.com?

Fix multi-city bookings tool for international bookings for a start...

Considering they want QF Intl to do better they should fix this to make their pax to book easier

I would like QF to be able to fix the system that you can not check in your luggage to go from BNE-TSV-BNE-SYD all in one day or back over your intial starting point in the same day.

QF aint alone in this. This has happened with me with AA.

I'd like to be able to view multiple fare classes at the same time when searching fares.

2.
They could improve the presentation of their seat maps. Not a biggie though.

I'd like to NOT be presented with Jetstar flight options. It's a totally different airline, and if I wanted to travel on a LCC I would've gone to jetstar.com.au or tiger.com.au in the first place. The day they decide to honour my QFF status on Jetstar, allow me to earn SC's and points on Jetstar, check my luggage through connecting flights seamlessly, and stop pretending they're not in the QF family when it suits them... is the day I'll be happy for them to give me Jetstar options when I'm on the Qantas website.

Having Jetstar flights on the QF website is like being in a nice woodfired-pizza restaurant and seeing McCain frozen SuperSupreme pizza on the menu.

Agree. You should be able to tick a box or something to include/exclude JQ options. If you login as a FF, surely you can put something in your profile to reflect this in the search engine

or you can just use the search screens that don't return Jetstar flights

I would like to see the booking tool 'fixed' so that everytime I change the destination city I don't have to go and put the travel dates in again!

When booking JASA's or FASA's STOP BLOODY SHOWING ME FLIGHTS WHERE I AM GOING TO BE IN ECONOMY for the majority of the trip!!!!

At least they have put a "!" there now but still, I want to book business class and I most certainly do not want to be stuck in economy for usually the longest leg of a flight. It's just plain rude of QF and then charge me full JASA points for the privilege of sitting in economy.

That is a serious flaw in their booking system. Yesteday was looking at Karratha-Auckland JASA's and the Karratha-Perth leg was in J and the rest of the trip was in Y......bloody stupid just makes my job as a customer harder having to hunt non Y seating JASAs

Showing the actual fare class (Y,H,B etc) prior to payment. This is important if you are not crediting to QF as some fare classes do not pay FF in partner programs.

You can work this out already by looking at the source code of the "Review your flight" page and just beneath the large gap in code, look for
mileageRequest += "&CLASSES=

Agree with you there, very annoying!

On some of the other points, I fear fixing the issues would be simpler if they re-wrote code, which would then probably lead to worse points deals, so I'm happy with the current state of the site as it means they also have to work with their own problems which lead to great deals.

The ability to change my bookings online instead of always having to call the bloody service desk and feel like I've been rodgered and have to pay the 'assistance fee' when I've tried to change it online.

I've pretty much always been able to change online, what specific scenario are you trying to change under?

Search for J/F awards directly rather than doing a search then selecting J/F and doing another search.

I'd like to be able to view the Australian site on my netbook. It thinks I'm in the US and no matter how many times I click Australia it reverts back to the US...

That could be due to the language settings in your browser on the netbook - have you tried selecting en(AU) instead of en(US)?

I'll have to check it out. Only issues with the QF site, nothing else.... wasn't previously a problem either.
