Had a flight from HBA today, the new entrance is past security leading to where the old check-in desk was.
Finally, it makes life a lot easier. I always wondered if there was a practical way of making the entry from airside which is now a reality!
Along with the change comes with some slight enhancements to the food offering

Is that enhancements or "enhancements"?

They added a "bain-marie" (for lack of a better word) to include a hot option - I think it was macaroni cheese but didn't try it - and had a few new antipasto options that I haven't seen there before, but have seen in the MEL or SYD J lounge/QP. The cabanossi that is always there was nowhere to be seen AFAIK. Everything else seemed the same. Drinks are the same.

Is the QP any larger? Only times I have been there it is usually standing room only! ;)

Finally they have it in operation then.

I noticed the new entrance back in March or April and mentioned it when checking in and was told "yeah, they ran out of money".....
