Is access to the AA arrivals lounge allowed, or denied? Seems to have see-sawed between the two over recent times, the current write-up on Qantas isn't promising.

London Heathrow Airport Guide is currently showing:

London (Heathrow) Arrival Lounge - Associated Lounge (American Airlines)

Arrivals level 2
Hours: 05:30 to 14:00 Daily

Qantas First and Business customers travelling on Qantas are eligible to use the American Airlines arrivals lounge when arriving into Terminal 3.

My understanding is that it is only Business/First. However I have accessed it flying whY+ on BA.

Qf have confirmed that there is no arrivals lounge access for a WP in economy arriving at lhr on a qantas flight.

So the ABT article was wrong when it was written or Platinum has recently lost a little more of its shine.

ABT is wrong.. WP traveling in Y never had access.. However if you have a Priority Pass the Air Canada lounge is nice for a shower..

To be precise, WP traveling in Y never had access since the move to T3 from T4.

I used the T4 arrivals lounge several times after travelling QF in WHY.

No access at LHR T3 AA arrivals for WP on QF. I tried a couple of months ago - rejected - they said J and F only. And the Air Canada arrivals doesn't open until 06:30 - so well after QF9 arrives but good for QF1. It's an option, yes, but food options in the AC lounge are rubbish (almost nothing). But there are showers, wifi, seats and coffee machines!

I guess showers facility is the key here really - after a long flight and another 8 hrs to hotel check in.

Foodwise, that can wait once you get into town. I am sure it is available everywhere.

Thank you again, Nlagalle, for a great tip !
