This one has been ongoing now for about 12 months I think. I've taken it up a couple of times and they have posted in a few days each time.

Tried to register.... says the offer has expired

I also got the "offer has expired" reply when I tried to register but I tried again a few minutes later and the registration was successful that time.

I spent $525 at Bing Lee on Sunday and this morning, when the transaction showed up in my Membership Rewards Points History page, the 5000 bonus points had been posted at the same time, even though the Amex website says "Please allow 8 to 10 weeks for Bonus Points to be credited to your account."

yes they have just put that stipulation-per cardmember
does that mean per person on a card account?
or per account with supplaimentrys?
or if you have a plat and a reserve and a normal qantas one that you get it on each card?
they really need to be more specific.
typical Amex.
Im on the phone to them now as I did 2 transactions out of one plat card with 2 different card holders.
i only got one amount.

I signed up with this link
update
https://www.americanexpress.com/aus...tlink=MRLP&inav=au_menu_rewards_mr_earnpoints which still states EVERY transaction( suggest you do too) then when you click thru still no mention of only 1 bonus

did 2 purchases over 500 with 2 sep CCs ( on one account ) and only got 1 x 5k
I called and they stated one transaction per cardmember and do not think that the supplaimentry cardholder is a sep cardmember!!
they denied me the second 5k

so their website signup is all screwed up they as usual have not followed thru with their webmasters!

Hi Guys,

The amex bonus partner website still has this bingleee bonus until 31st December but when I register it says it's no longer available???

Any ideas?

Thanks,
K.

The Amex website is showing the Bing Lee 5000 point promotion is available again, expiring 31 March 2013, for your first spend of at least $500. I received 5000 points for a purchase of over $500 last August and I registered for the new offer and spent $570 last Saturday and the 5,000 bonus points showed up yesterday.
