The T & C for Family Transfers states the following:

"Once in each 12 consecutive month period a Member may transfer some of their Points to an Eligible Family Member,..."

Is there also a similar limit to the number of transfers an "Eligible Family Member" may receive?

I ask because I may require a donation of points from Mrs 8803 (& also mini-8803 if possible) for a JASA or two in Dec/Jan to retain SG
.

Many thanks!

.... and if one of them does not have enough points then transfer points in turn from A to B to yourself.

So, can you tell me if this example will work? ....
My mother who resides at my address has 2000 points, and unlikely to travel again.
Can I transfer 3000 points from my a/c into hers, then transfer 5000 points back to myself?
( as isn't it a minimum 5000 points transfer? )

Thanks for your help

It does not matter where they live so address is irrelevant.

You transfer her 5000 points (minimum amount) and she transfers 7000 back.

Others have done this. Although, if 5000 is the minimum, you would need to transfer that amount first!

Of course, thanks.
also, is this example possible for velocity points?
Sure is, but I think with Velocity, a family member is supposed to be at the same address. Worth double checking just before you do it.

The same residential address is a requirement for pooling, but I don't believe the limitation exists for straight transfers.
