VFF on Singapore booking

I recently purchased flights from Townsville to Bangkok.

Townsville - Brisbane = Virgin
Brisbane - Bangkok (via Singapore) = Singapore Airlines

They were purchased through a travel agency (Flight Centre). Upon booking I instructed the travel agent to add my VFF number to all flights. I've just checked the details on the Virgin and Singapore websites and the number was entered for the Virgin flights, but not the Singapore flights. So I manually entered the number (among other things like meals and seats) saved the page and then went back in to check, and the number isnt there, it just says (No Frequent Flyer added).

I called the Singapore help desk, and requested they add the number, which they did. But still when I go back and check, it's not showing on the website under my booking.

I contacted the travel agent, and this was her response:

"Hi Strongarm,
I had added in your frequent flyer number to the Singapore Airlines flights already and had nominated for it to cross over from Virgin so it should be in there. The only thing that I can think of is maybe they don't do it if the Virgin tickets are not booked on the same e-ticket.
Cheers,"

I don't want to get back home and have to enter into a fight to try and get these status credits allocated, I would rather have it sorted before I leave. Am I worrying over nothing, how should I pursue this?

Thanks for your help.

I have changed FF details on SQ bookings a couple of times via email to au_feedback"at"singaporeair.com.sg

I did MEL - SIN - MEL this week on SQ flights. Booked direct through SQ claiming Velocity points. The booking didn't originally show my Velocity number through SQ website 'my bookings'. I fixed it up via email and then checked with the desk agent when doing bag drop for the first flight.

Points and status credits for both flights were credited within 24 hours of departure.

Another question, on the Singapore eticket it shows a baggage allowance of 30kg.

However when I check on the Singapore website under "my booking" it only shows an allowance of 20kg.

Could this have something to do with my Virgin Silver status?

Are these separate bookings?

The Virgin ticket (TSV-BNE) is sepperate to the Singapore ticket (BNE-BKK), but that shouldn't make any difference, should it?

My Virgin details kept disappearing off my Singapore booking no matter how many times I tried on the web page. In the end I just showed my card at check in. Points came through fine for me (they haven't for my wife though, but that is another story.)

We've only just arrived in London (well yesterday) on an SQ flight (including bonus 3 hour delay in Singapore).

I never saw the VFF numbers on the SQ site but the booking appeared under my KF signon. At the airport all VFF numbers were recorded, however my BP showed my KF number.
