I was meant to fly QF HVB-BNE-SYD on Saturday, except I slept in and missed that flight. So I rebooked on QFLink to get me into BNE at 11.15. There are DJ flights every hour to SYD. Being cautious, I booked a DJ flight at 12. Hoping if I got in on time etc I'd move to the 11am one.

I booked J on the 12noon service as I didn't want to risk not sitting at the front of the plane. Also knowing if I got to the airport on time, that'd be my best bet to move fwd an hour.

Only thing was the flight an hr early was a 737-700 - ie - no biz class.

Anywho, That isn't a problem and I don't care. But I just got this email. Looks as if DJ have refunded me some money (the diff b/w a Flexi and a J fare?) or who knows! Totally random. Haven't looked at IB either to see what I've been charged or not.

Otherwise, dunno what a BWOD Fee is??

$212 was the Flexi cost. so that makes sense to me??

BDOW - Better Dan One World :)

Why is the "Fee" a Credit?? That's how much better dan one world they are ;-)

I would suggest its a category of expense that goes against the KPIs for the J implementation team or ops team - gives them a metric by which they can judge the tree effect of their work when it comes to "ROGUES", either that of they have enhanced to fee into a credit!

Well I'm not complaining. I was CONSIDERING calling to ask if they'd give me the diff $$. But wasn't really fussed as I did get to SYD in the end. I only bought a J seat as I didn't want to be the last person on the plane and sitting up the back. the 737-700 had 3 spare seats. The one b/w 1D (Me) and 1F (another J pax) and 2 up the back. so I am a happy camper through and through :)
