This one is for anyone in the know :)

As I understand it the plan is for JQ to get the 787 and as this happens QF get the A330's back from JQ.

My query is will these A330's be upgraded to have AVOD throughout as per VH-EBM-P or left as is.

The latter will be a terrible decision IMO.

Anyone know?

Some of the JQ birds have it already.

I was under the impression that the JQ cabins are now in a convertible (to QF) layout. Starclass loses the 3rd seat and gets recovered with cloth.

Changing seats is a bit different to IFE which is what the OP is asking.

The early aircraft were originally with qantas domestic, three seats and all. My guess is that those particular aircraft will stay with main screen. Buy really will have to wait and see.

So is it a safe assumption that the non AVOD aircraft will just get the Panasonic/Q Streaming system.

i would hope they get a very, very deep clean prior to transferring to QF! :)
