Congratulations you have achieved the maximum amount of Loyalty bonuses for the year.

Congratulations?

Does this mean that Qantas don't value my loyalty for the next 8 months and I should send my travel dollars elsewhere?

Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question, I'm just still finding it incredulous that a cap was put on the "loyalty" bonuses.

Are you now limited to 4 Loyalty Bonus' per 'year'?

Are you now limited to 4 Loyalty Bonus' per 'year'?
Yep! Since Dec 1st, loyalty bonus went from 5k per 450 SC's unlimited to 8k for each of the first 4 lots of 500 SC's earned per year. 50K comes in at 2400 SC's (can choose the 50K or gift SG or Valet Vouchers)

I'll be hitting 2400 SCs next week, so yes I'll get getting the 50K points then (although thanks to someone blabbing to my wife about partner gold, it's not quite as easy as it was last year .... :p)

So, for the equivalent of 50k maybe you can do some great travel breaks with the wife, & get more brownie points than if she has PG but doesn't use it much? If she got the double SC offer, maybe she can Get gold with this travel.
