Would there be 30 F and J seats on the A380?

Maybe no body wanted to fly economy

I speak to plenty of umm, nobodies I guess, and they all think Qantas is unsafe to fly because of the engine explosion, despite the fact that the plane safely landed.

Likewise here in SG, where most of my peers would prefer taking JQ7/8 rather than QF9/10, even if they are similarly priced.

Goodness! Even when the problem was an RR one and not QF! And SQ even use the same RR engines. Mmm... Logic and truth are strange sometimes...

Isn't it more to do with being uneducated on the topic. I'm sure everyone here can make uninformed decisions in areas we're not experts (or just well versed) in. And everyone can choose to ignore logic/not want to be better educated about a topic.

It's going to be at gate D49... Right out in the far corner, and opposite side from where all other QF/BA planes usually are. Looks like they are keen to avoid being seen here in SIN.

And perhaps a touch of superstition? I note it's impossible to book row 13 on SQ or MI. Yet there they are on QF! And bad luck is... well bad luck.

I saw someone mention QF444 this evening on the forums… I doubt any Chinese national would step foot on that flight ;)

Never mind about luck... if you are going to go, then you are going to go, no matter the flight or airline...
