I'm surprised that the zoning was not applied to J rather than Y, as I would have thought that would make more sense.
Having said that, as noted earlier, you're never going to be able to find a way to avoid all the other problem passengers.
The seating on the MH A380 has F upstairs and J downstairs, so I guess if they did it to J as well as F they would have locked out all the premium fare paying parents.
But I guess it is a case of 'you can't please all the people all of the time'.
