So, is this crime of moral turpitude? hehe

Will the USA Dept Of Immigration keep him out now?

Is THIS crime? All his other crimes have been of moral turpitude but that hasn't stopped him from entering, so no doubt this little indiscretion won't have any impact on his future travels. Remember, he's a celebrity, they're more important and have more rights than us plebs. I don't know how they do it!

Is he the most annoying talentless cough on the planet? Has had everything given to him on a silver platter as a result of his parents and is still a F@#@up! He really needs to get into rehab or the next headline he makes might be obituary!

Choosing to fight in a bar in America is a very risky idea. He may get his lights knocked out if he keeps doing this if someone takes a dislike of him to a punch up.

He appears spoilt, arrogant, foolish. Maybe he's attention seeker. I wonder if convicted in the US whether he'll be denied entry. Or, he may be exempted!

Some might argue that because he has had everything handed to him on a silver platter he is the way he is.

While i agree to a point, he does seem to have deep mental issues. That doesnt excuse him at all, but perhaps the non-rich equivalent is the idiots screaming at imaginary objects in the various capital city malls.

They have seized his passport. Look like they want to keep him... Maybe he suits the LOFTFAP
At least he won't be returning for a while.

Can we submit a few more names for them?? Kyle perhaps?

Cheers.

I know it is a small issue, but "Resisting police" is not a crime. "Resisting arrest" is a crime. "Wrongful arrest" is also a crime. Interesting language used by the Herald Sun.

He clearly has fairly significant mental health issues that have not been properly addressed. This must be every parents nightmare. Not a Bert fan by any stretch, but when things like this happen in a high profile family, they go bad in a big way. Someone needs to keep him out of trouble because he seems unable to do it for himself.

And if he does have serious mental problems, which seems beyond dispute, condemning or critcizing him for that is as sensible to me as criticizing him for having cancer.

No, wasn't suggesting that at all. In fact, the opposite. I was adding to what you said.
Thank you then. :).

Unfortunately mental health issues are used as an excuse for people committing crimes, when previously there had been no history of mental health issues or treatment. Usually used by clever lawyers. Maybe in some cases that is the case, but I do think people get a little weary of it being used to avoid penalty. In Matts situation his unfortunate mental health illnesses have been apparent for years but nothing seems to be working for him. Very sad.

And .... Here we go again. He was arrested again after assaulting a hotel clerk. You can only have sympathy or understanding for so long, mental issues or not. The bloke needs an attitude adjustment.

Indeed. I'm sure Miami police are sick of him now... And a Judge is not going to like him re-offending (allegedly) while on bail.

A couple of years ago there was an episode of South Park which parodied Russell Crowe ,the plot involved Russell Crowe hosting his own tv show devoted to 'fighting round the world" ,if Newton carries on the way he has been for much longer I can see South Park creating a Matthew Newton version!.
Seriously the guy needs help before he gets in any deeper trouble.
Cheers
