Hi all,

Maybe this is only happening to me, but lately I have been seated in a seat where the seat belt has been fitted the wrong way, meaning it needs to be twisted in order for it to actually be fastened. I think these small errors have occured during the interior refits.

Id assume there'd be some CASA or similar regulation about this...VA engineers should do a quick inspection overnight on each aircraft and fix them all up. It's small I know but I find it irritating, as did this person at 1:53 of the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSIfXDJt9iw

Thanks Virgin!

I find this happens occasionally, and I always try to untwist them. Only been stymied once when an FA noticed what I was doing and said "Don't do that, please!"

I also reposition toilet rolls so no doubt I'm on the OCD spectrum ...

nope I had this on a Refit bird coming back from Sydney last week. The offending seat was 21F on VH-VOT

Just tell the crew. The seat belts do this from time to time.

Because seatbelts like playing tricks on people. Or....maybe you just grabbed the seatbelt belonging to the seat next to you which explains why the buckle is around the wrong way. ;)
