I recently stayed at the Sheraton Paris Airport and received an auto-survey asking for my feedback, so I did the usual 5 minute job to get that done. Needless to say I was quite surprised when only a few hours later I had an e-mail from the Quality Manager/Executive Assistant responding to my feedback. Well done Sheraton CDG:!:

Good to see. Ive received emailed and posted responses before. Always nice.

The one recent hotel I ripped shreds out of in a survey (suspicious stains on the couch, room smelt heavily of smoke, general lack of cleanliness etc) never responded.

That is fine. Will never stay there again and have made similar comments on Tripadvisor.

Interesting! Mine was a comment in jest (in a way) so was surprised to get feedback. I told them their price was too high for what was such a simple room, especially considering the Hilton was nowhere near the same ;) Unfortunately work tends to book with the Sheraton over the Hilton! Doh!

Similar experience with me, was asked to do a survey on Sheraton Great Wall Beijing. On the survey I made a complaint about the shower head (old shower head, single stream of water very little spray) in the room I stayed in on one of my three different stays there over a week (other two rooms had new showerheads - infinitely better). Got an email response very quickly and another a day later indicating that maintenance had investigated and replaced the shower head.
