New QFF Status Renewal Packs?

I re-qualified Gold back in August 2011 and haven't done any flying with QF subsequently (my status year is 28 Feb). The renewal kit/pack came through today - a month early, nice to have it already.

However, rather than the normal covering letter with the kit, it has changed to a fold out brochure-like feel. Covers off all the benefits of Gold, without having to enclose all the normal booklets etc.

Has anybody else noticed this change?

I qualified Gold a fortnight ago and got the pack yesterday - seems similar to what you've posted, I'll have to check when I get home.
Did you get another set of bag tags? (ie if you maintain silver or higher, you get 2 new bag tags per membership year?)

Agree, I was underwhelmed as well.

The only thing noticeable about it is the girl - she has a nice body and wears that dress well

I wouldn't.

Not sure why it even matters though - if you aren't getting bag tags - just a new card then a simple renewal is fine for me - spend the money on the champers I say!

No, my letter says "Inside you'll find a summary of your privileges together with your new Gold card, which can be used with your existing Q Bag Tags".

Got my Gold card stuck to the inside of the letter, on the "wheat" page above the wording "Your Gold Privileges".

WP's get the same girl, but the paper stock is glossy, while NB's just get a photocopy of Magda Zubanski in a thong...

Got my new ANZ Gold (boo hoo no elite attached) card, was in a letter with a fold out cardboard thingy...

Seeing there is an expectation for more from QF, I will contact my sources and organise sky writing, A380 low pass fly over and a free Ferrari for anyone underwhelmed with a letter. Please list your name and GPS co-ordinates in this thread so the pilot (hopefully the one from the new Qantas safety video) gets it right and the Italians don't screw up the address...

Please don't be disappointed if nothing comes to fruition...

I did a ramp up through NB to WP a while ago - it was 4 days of flying (Day 1 NB to PS, Day 2 PS to SG, Day 4 SG to WP), and I ended up with the welcome packs for each level arriving about 3-4 weeks later. All of them were pretty uninspiring - but since they were only cradling the bag tags and my new QFF card, that's all I cared about.

I got downgraded from WP to SG and I got the exact same pack.

"Whilst you didn't fly enough, we were obliged to send you the same model in a dress as others, but let it be fair warning, its all downhill form here."
