5 status credits short

I am currently sitting 5 SC's short of gold status.
I have 3 return flights from the past 12 months but more than 3 months before opening my FF account so could not claim these.

If I show these to qantas and ask nicely would they be able to bump me to gold? Or will I need to earn these points on a status run?

I suspect the answer will be no but worth asking the question anyway. I dont suppose you could PM RedRoo on here? If it were VA that is how I would do it but not sure with QF. Do you have any flights booked for the coming weeks or months as that will affect the outcome?

You can try with the missing flights but I wouldnt have high hopes.
5 SCs is hardly a status run

AS a general rule Qantas doesn't seem to waive the initial qualification levels, but may for requalification.

TBH.... It's hardly going to take a "run" to achieve!

Just take a flight..... Free QP for at least a year would be worth it alone!!

I agree. If you are based in SYD or MEL it could be done for as little as $130 on QantasLink, if the sale is still going
