Just had an odd one today - I had preselected 25B on QF409 SYD-MEL on 2 Feb. Just went in to move forward (thinking it was actually this week's trip to MEL that is in fact on DJ/VA) and got the message that they couldn't display the seat map and now my seat selection is nullnull...

This is a paid semi flex ticket - all a bit weird.

I thought it might be a T-80 issue until I realised that it was the wrong week...

Yeah, I had a similar problem last week when booking a trip online to Johannesburg to depart in Feb 2012. After making the booking I logged back into view the booking and noticed that my QFF number was not appearing next to my name (my partner's number was next to her name however - she is bronze while I am WP). I clicked "Add" but it still would not put my number next to my name.

When I then went to select seats, the system wouldn't allow me to do so without paying the $20 fee! I called Qantas and they put in my seat request for me but they were not able to explain the problem with my QFF number not being on the booking. Now when I go to Seat Select the seat map does not show at all (with the same message as in Simongr's post).

There must be some techinical issue with the booking systems it seems.

I had heard of the issue with award tickets but not paid - just rechecked and it is now working.
