Legroom on QF Jetconnect TT 737-800 Row 1 (J)

Has anyone considered the possibility that row one was removed and the pic taken is actually of of row 2??

it seems to me that the windows are in alignment, despite some PS doctoring of the light etc....

either way, I agree with the OP. This is deceptive and misleading advertising and should be reported to the authorities.

If it was advertising legroom in the wording then you could, but it's only a picture and I am guessing there is fine print somewhere advertising it may not appear as shown.

And this happens in all areas. If we complained about all ads, it would become rather bland! Some examples are:

VA J class as mentioned, almost 1 FA per pax (I've seen the ad too)

McDonalds burger - why doesn't mine look that good when I get it?

Deodorant - why arent the girls flocking around me?

Beer ads - where do I start?

Its known that all ads have a certain amount of creative licencing. My guess on that ad is they have photoshopped the extra wall to remove the bulkhead that would have been showing. It's definately worked as the window is larger.

We also need to remember that there is a gulf between something being 'false and misleading' and the false and misleading conduct actually being actionable legally. I would say that this promo ad is probably 'false and misleading' but it is not worth taking it anywhere other than to comment on it, and to perhaps let the QF rep on this board know that some of us are not impressed with this sort of thing.

The fact that a significant amount of advertising material pushes the boundaries of 'false and misleading' does not excuse the practice or make it desirable.

You say bland.

I say accurate representation of product or service. :)

(Don't mind me, I'm "that guy", the one who always pushes back on the ridiculous cough our marketing department tries to push out the door).
