Air France-KLM will announce orders Friday for both Boeing and Airbus wide-body airliners, the French newspaper Los Echoes reported Thursday. The orders reportedly will be for 25 Airbus A350-900s, with options for 35 more, and 25 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with options for 25 more. The jets would replace older Boeing (McDonnell Douglas) MD-11s and 777s and Airbus A340s.
