Hi All
I am flying through NRT this week with JAL and wonder if my Qf gold will get me into the QF lounge at Narita to while away the hours there. I find the JAL Sakura lounge always crazy busy, and am hopeful for a bit more peace and quiet in the QF one. According to the oneworld lounge access policy I should be able to get in, but the QF website states that access is for members flying QF/BA only. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

Thanks!

By OW rules you certainly can get in.The QP though is in the satellite terminal and the Sakura lounge there is usually not as busy as the main lounge.I have also used the Admiral's club when flying QF with no problem but of course my status is with AA.

I've definitely accessed while flying JL in J, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I agree with you, its a far quieter and more relaxing lounge compared to the Sakura lounge, and I love the Asahi dispenser

Happy Travels!

In the main terminal if not going to the JL lounge (I have only been in the F lounge) I would go to the AA lounge as it is relatively new and very nice with great showers and the beer dispenser. I avoid the QF lounge at all costs - generally packed with a pretty poor beverage/food selection.

There's a Sukara lounge in the satellite (on the other side if the 'train' from the Qantas lounge). Subject to opening times you may like to try that.
