I'm just trying to book some K-Ups on AA.com. I get all the way through the process, but then it doesn't give Australia as a country in the drop-down list when I enter my Amex number. Any ideas ?

Thanks, but the Australian site doesn't have any instant upgrade fares nor the same selection of routings at the US site.

I don't know how many times Serfty has mentioned it but the treasure is found in "El Segundo"!

I have moved this thread to a more appropriate forum.

At the top of this forum is a stickey:

Note the was split from the one posted by gowatson as the context has changed significantly since 2007.

Thanks for that. As a dual national Oz/US, I have US issued CCs so for me this was never an issue. But your workaround is very interesting and I will pass it around to my non AFF but still FFer friends. ;)

All booked... Was going to use el segundo... But used my parents UK address... Flights all ticketed

Yup. Interesting that. Just need a US issued credit card.

Some time I'll tell the sorry tale starting around 14 years ago, of getting a BoA CC for just this purpose, only to find that it's not a US issued CC you need but a US address.
