could you repost in English please??

I am guessing the OP wants to use Krysflyer points for J award LHR-LAX-MEL, but is having trouble getting reward availibility which he can usually get very easily on Singapore Airlines

Not for 70,000pts on SQ you can't.

and given that this "award" would involve a star alliance partner airline, most likely United, im not sure the relevance of being able to get 2 "U" seats (or whatever class SQ uses for award travel) anywhere within 2 weeks of travel. If SQ is anything like QF, youd be dreaming to think you'd get 2x U availability on any longhaul flight within a few weeks of travel, and if you did, it'd definatley be the exception rather than the rule.

Actually SQ FAR FAR better than QF for award seats - not unusual at all to get Standard Award redemptions within a day or so of travel - J Savers much more diffficult.

I just returned from Europe last week on J Savers - MEL-SIN-MXP / AMS-SIN-MEL 136,000pts on J Savers - I think this is where OP got the 70K pts ref from - but MEL-LHR-LAX aint gonna work with J Savers.

136k points for a J class seat? thats ridiculously cheap when compared to QF, where itd barely get you a Y seat!!

Thats why I DON'T fly Qantas.

And whats more:
SQ J Saver MEL-PEK/PVG 102,000pts
SQ J Saver MEL-CAN/SZX 76,500pts
QF Classic MEL-PVG 144,000pts

Thats why I DON'T fly Qantas.
