And these are excuses for appalling behaviour?No.

Well, of course, they are not excuses for appalling behaviour. But they are somethings that provide perspective to our reaction to fellow travelers. Points to consider and help us decide that we can ignore what someone has done, because it doesn't really impact on us even if we would never do it ourselves. Case in point, unaccompanied minor on a recent flight at 6:25am, in ugg boots pillow and almost PJs. Pretty appalling, I would never send my kids off looking like that. Do the parents know any better for flying compared to say how they usually dress when driving long distance? Probably not. Most important does it affect me? No! Bogan behaviour, seen and ignored.
