Hi All.

So I'm sure I'll get this sorted out, but just wanted to make sure I'm right before calling back.

I had a JASA (CBR-MEL-HBA) booked for last week that would push me to WP. Unfortunately due to the Ash cloud, it had to be rescheduled to yesterday and tomorrow.

One of my flights appeared in my account, but it has appeared as 0 points and 0 sc's. I called to ask about it, and the cso said that I wasn't eligible. I didn't have time to argue, so will call back...

I just checked my flight back tomorrow, and it's showing U class. What's the best way of making sure my sc's post (and I get my WP!)?

Thanks

Luis

This has happened to me a number of times with JASAs. Just call up QFF and be very specific: tell them you had a Business Class any seat award that should have earned points + SCs but posted with none, and that you're aware the normal procedure is for them to do a points adjustment.

Should take 2 minutes but can vary depending on whether the person you're speaking to knows what you're talking about.

U is the right class and the JASA flights should earn points and SCs.

Thanks guys. I thought it should be easy, but my call this afternoon made me wonder.

I'll call back again tomorrow. To complicate things - I got the double SC promo, and need them to qualify to WP.

Hopefully the person tomorrow will be more helpful!

There are a few reports that JASA when changed are not automatically earning any points/SC's. It appears a call is necessary.

U class is award/upgrade business class, so the CSA sees that and states not eligible. You have to implant the knowledge into them that the booking was a Business Class Any Seat Award before they will change tack.
