Nick name used on Flight booking

This thread started as what the...:confused: but turned more and more hilarious as it went along :lol:. Thanks for the laugh guys :mrgreen:.
 
I don't think the suggestions here are very helpful.You could always change your name by deed pole!
 
how about getting a second frequent flyer account and just do family transfers every year. As you are related to yourself there shouldn't be a problem:)
 
There are a lot of Asian people who live by their nick name. For example, I booked a flight for a Mr Mario Zhang to find out this wasn't his actual name, but the English one chosen while dealing with Euro countries
True. I did not think of that scenario but rather the Gazzas, Bazzas, Tezzas, Davos, Waynos etc of the world....

i always get asked where did u get the nick name from, it gets people wondering not anly where u are from, but also what nationality are u!:)

Issue with that is that you will have status spread across two accounts. You cannot transfer SC's either. i wouldn't want to have 2 FF accounts.. makes it too hard

good point, i will get the company to change my name to reflect whats on my passport, as i believe there is now a manadatory photo ID required on flights as per Travel Guru.
