Shrek family will be in London in October, looking at staying at Hilton London Metropole. Did some searching on Hilton.co.uk and found minibreaks with free accommodation and breakfast for kids when sharing + 50% off second room for kids. Rang Hilton reservations and they had no idea, it seemed to be a distant call centre. I have held 2 rooms and will ring again to see if I can get someone who knows about minibreaks. Has anyone else booked one of these and if so how did you do it?

DiD you end Up staying here? I normally stay at the coughberland, Marble Arch, but thought I might try the Metropole to take advantage for my comped Diamond status.

Was it any good??

Thanks in advance

Yes we did stay there. Small but nice exec lounge. Ate breakfast ( full buffet complimentary)in the Restaurant. Good location across from Edgware Road Tube station. Waitrose and M&S across the road.
I would be happy to stay there again but I'm a bit of an adventurer and will be trying out my ( hopefully) newly minted Diamond status at the Hilton Tower Bridge and The Trafalgar soon.

Thanks, I like my hotel to be a very quick cab ride to Paddington for HEx, so I can change/collect luggage on way past from meetings to LHR.

Mightgive this one a go. Yes nice to have the comp Diamond card on board......will give Hilton a go on the next trip wherever I can
