Not sure whether it is normal for everyone to do an intro on here, but thought it best I did. Wanted to to get my first post up there ;)

Thought I travelled a bit, but looking thru the postings - sheesh you guys get around :D Seems to be some good stuff posted up and have already learnt things that I hadn't thought about. Travelling to the US later on in the year.

Cheers
Andrew

Welcome Aboard to both of you.

You now have all the excitement as you race to join the "100 Post Club" and move from "Junior Member" to the dizzying height of "Member"

There is a lot of combined knowledge held by the members and in my own personal experience I have found AFF'ers very friendly and helpful.

Actually, first off is the race to “Junior Member” from “New Member”, which I think is about 10 posts…

hopdup & under the radar,

Welcome to AFF

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Just found a car rental agent for the USA via recommendation on this site and was able to save a bundle. Great stuff. I like this place :D:D:D

A hearty welcome to both our new members.
Just remember though this place is addictive and can change your whole life.Until AFF I travelled Business class by preference so only once a year. Now it is 2-3 times a year for close to the same money and with undreamed about upgrades to F.I also now think access to a Flounge is the norm and a great shock last year when we lost access:shock:.

Hello All :)

I'm new here too... have snooped around so many pages & seriously gobsmacked at the amazing amount of collaborative knowledge!!!!! And you all seem like a friendly bunch of people too!

Thanks for being here & thanks for the Abreviations page (learning a new language can be had some times!)

I have a trip to plan to the States and through to Paris, then home to Melbourne, in Sep/Oct/Nov, once I've sorted it out, Im hoping to run it by you all to see if there are any better options.

Cheers

Welcome to AFF, I’m sure everyone here will be happy to take a look at your plans and suggest wacky alternative routings ;)

Hi all

I live and work out in western NSW, about 2 hours drive from Dubbo, so most of my flights are Dubbo / Sydney with an occasional interstate one. Status credits: lose them every year <LOL>, so now very firmly stuck down the back of the plane since Qantas changed their seating allocations.

Although I don't get to do all the flying that most list members do, I did a DONE a few years ago and looking forward to the next one. I'm storing up information for that.

fjc,

a belated welcome to AFF.

Three posts since 9th Aug sounds to me like you are just sitting around and taking it all in.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Welcome to the new members also!

I still consider myself a newb around here. One thing that's for sure, you will always be learning things if you stick around. I love it, just booked my first YUPP/KUPP run for next month. Something I never thought I would do but after endless hours of reading this site and a few helpful PM's (yes you know who you are... Mr serf *cough* yoda *cough* ty... ) I've taken the step!

Let the addiction roll on... :)

Hi,

Long time reader (google seems to always send me here).
Fantastic info on this site from members. Greatly appreciated. Obviously a great need for the site. Who says the internet's only good for cough...?
Fly XR and TL for work, QF & DJ to get home.
I rent in both Perth and Melbourne.
Mid 20's.
Many abbreviations to learn.

Cheers,
PA=SH
