I always wait until the seatbelt sign is off before changing. I change back about an hour before landing and I tend to do that at my seat.

Coming back from LHR yesterday I mentioned to the CSM that I liked the red logo on the 90th anniversary PJ's in J, and that as I don't fly long haul J I would probably not get to have a pair.

When we landed in MEL he discretely gave me 2 pair, along with a bottle of Tattinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs.

Did he give you his phone number?

As it turns out. No he did not. If I had required it I'm sure it would have been provided. ;)

IME... Facebook allows an FA/CSM to contact you should they wish to.

I also think that the PJs are so baggy that people just look like blobs so no unsightly images in my experience...

There seems to be some disparite opinions about appropriate PJ time. I am firmly in the soon as I get them, put them on before take off camp. Shoes handy in case needed; like a mid flight pitstop!

It goes without saying that you change into real clothes shortly before landing.

I tend to leave the used PJ's on the plane. Although once travelling in whY, I reused a pair and got some very strange, but curiously satisfying looks.

Maybe i'm a bit too uptight but I have never felt comfortable changing into pyjamas on a flight. I'm sure Freud would have had a field day with me.

Recently Flying back from London in Y+ the CSM asked if there was anything she could get me. I thought it was worth a try and mentioned a pair of PJs would be good.

They came with a ;) 30 minutes later very discretely in a Duty Free shopping bag :D

Until Singapore:lol:

They are good for Melbourne nights even after a few washes

Just got a pair of these on SYD-SFO. Not too sure about the red logo but it's a small improvement on the black roo. Changed into them on boarding. Seat 1A ( only J service sadly). Now dare I wear them on AA to MIA? ;p

I wore them once to join all the others in F in my own 12 hour imaginary episode of Star Trek. Shorter flights are good for re-engaging with the Wiggles. I wore them at home once too (chilly night) - spouse thought I was a prisoner of war.

Lol... star trek...

When I do DONE4's i make sure that my first flight is QF so that I have PJ's for the rest of the trip... Yes i wear them on BA and AA flights =) yes i get weird looks but hey I sleep well...

I dont think I would be either unless it was after 10pm when the flight took off , wish I was more like some of the other travellers:lol:

Personal I never change into PJs until after take-off (just in case an evacuation is called). Once airborne then I change into them.

Obviously I change out of PJs before TOD.
