Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get to KUL on thursday 10 Mar 11 for the weekend. It seems to be an uncompetitive leg unless you're looking for a euro trip.
Anyone under $900 per adult (4 pax) would be great.
Via SIN is OK too.

Any ideas?
MH - website down but about $950-$1000
SQ - $1000-$1100
We are normally OW travelers but open to other options.

Was looking at EK for BNE-SIN with MH or SQ connection to KUL. It seems to be an travel agent booking to get this as a connection. If I made two separate bookings, I was worried if a late plane means I missed connections through SIN.

Appreciate any advice. Need to book ASAP.

Cheers.

If you don't mind going in & out of the Gold Coast you can flying AirAsiaX for AUD600.00 return per person provided the times/dates suit.

We are on the north side of brisbane. At least 2-3hrs to get to the gold coast airport. The gold coast airport is actually on the NSW/QLD boarder (the runway has parts on each side!) and at the very southern end. Transport, food & baggage to the extra time and it doesn't add up.
BNE is the best option.

I did notice cheap EK & MH flight ex MEL. Might see if there is a red-e deal to match to get there.

Cheers.

Bear in mind that MEL is a little further south of the NSW/QLD border though. It depends how important saving $1600.00 is. I'd quite happily take a 2-3 hour drive to OOL the day prior & overnight in a hotel. I don't think the cost of transport, food or baggage would be anywhere near $1600.00.

You may find that adding a MCY/MEL return to the EK/MH flight MEL/KUL would be more than just flying ex BNE to KUL. Plus you run the of risk of mis-connecting should your first flight be late or cancelled.

Consider Emirates - they often have some good deals. Try one of the engines like expedia - you might get an Emirates to SIN and then something connectiong up to KUL.

Thanks.
Just got onto Jetabroad. $742 pax. Can't argue with that. Any no CC fees with this site.
EK BNE-SIN. MH SIN-KUL.

Booking now!

OK - also VAustralia had some deals with the new codeshare service (on Etihad) to Singapore - but that was around $750 by itself, without getting to KUL

i've always found Jetabroad great to work with.

2009 flew Syd - Sin -NRT Singapore

PDG = SYD - QF

in between wanted to do Narita - Xian to do the Entombed Warriors. Jetabroad were the only ones that could come up with the flights and decent timetable that enabled us to go Narita - Shanghai -Xian -Shanghai. that was the first time i'd used them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
