Someone to do the award ticket availability legwork

Just a thought, there would be a market there for someone to call up and check availability for busy people regarding reward flights, as it is time consuming.

This would suit a home bound person who wanted to earn some cash on the side?

What would people be prepared to pay for and perform this service I wonder?

Well a somewhat similar service that could easily compass what you're suggesting does operate in the US:

They charge USD75/trip outside North America for flight planning and assistance while travelling.

There was/is a service in Australia that would do that. Can't recall who they were, but they were a travel company that also offered discount Qantas Club membership for a fee.

I have never used them, nor know of anyone that has used them, so can't vouch for their level of usefulness...

Yeah, they were who I was thinking of... Their fees are quite steep, but then again, so are many other fees targeted at cashed up idiots/execs/bogans who don't have the time to research how to scratch their own back.
