Login to AA Australia?

just wondering if anyone has successfully logged into the AA Australia website. I'm having difficulty to say the least. There are a couple of AAdvantage offers on the Australian website that don't appear on the US version, like 1000 bonus miles for sigining up for the eSummary statement. When I click on the offer link it asks me to login with the following advice:

Upon login you will be redirected to AA.com U.S. To return to AA.com Australia use the back button on your browser.

When I login it takes me to the US site, but the back button on the browser just takes me back to the login page. So no chance to sign on for the offer.

Is there a trick that I'm missing?

Looks to me that the link is wrong. It points to the login page, not to a registration for a special offer.

Hmmm -= I logged in on the AU sight and stayed on the AU site - so some nice little gremlin must have fixed the link.

Yep that's right. This is the problem that I raised. It will only take me to the login page and not to the Australian special offer page. You can see the special offers on the page that I linked. When I login in it takes me to the US site and using the back button (as per the instruction) only takes me back to the login page.

Have tried with IE, safari and firefox.

No I don't have the code. One way to get around this would be to get the offer code. Do you have it?
