#Powderfinger to play mid-air at more than 30,000 feet on a #Jetstar plane in a once in a lifetime performance Home : Powderfinger's Sunsets Farewell Tour

Anyone here going to try bid for a seat, could be fun, especially this VIP lounge party with the band. Might just find out what date the flight is and get myself to the QP ;) Then again I see the "orange" seats are already over a couple k.

They flew PER/DRW 25 Sep then departed DRW/CNS 27 Sep. I think the 717 was packed to the rafters with band equipment.

Who's going from AFF? Must be some takers!

Considering the price of tickets, not me, but if they were on a regular flight it might be cool to meet them, maybe even in the lounge before the flight.

They are only releasing the first batch, its fair to say the first and last batched will go for the most, note one orange pass is $2K, the newer $500 at present. I wonder if people realise the "concert"will last 20 minutes???

I presume they'll be playing seated with seatbelts firmly fastened.

From the layout if the seats and stage I'm not so sure. I am curious how they'll work it but assumed they'd remove seats for the stage. Maybe they'll just turn them around instead?
