Anyone else get this? Is it real or a maybe a scam. Just ask because my exclusive invitation requires entering all my membership details.

I joined it a while back, as it offered some bonus points and once every month or two get a survey invite sent out. I keep forgetting what it was tied to so end up putting in the 'too hard' basket and deleting :p

Yeah. They're offering me 350 PC points for doing 2 surveys in 3 months or something like that. Then it seems that it would earn opinion points? But no information on how to use the opinion points. :-|

I am a member of the same panel, via an email directly from Hilton Honours about four months ago.

Can confirm not a scam, and will happily vouch for their program. In the interest of disclosure I received 500 HH points just for signing up. Have not received any spam which I've been able to attribute to them, and the only messages they send are invites for the surveys.

The surveys are quite reasonable, and nothing worse than you'd usually get. Mainly about business/travel stuff, but may stray into other areas such as grocery buying habits.

The return on investment for the time spent varies, most surveys I've seen average a return of 300-500 opinion points. In as little as four surveys you have enough to make a transfer to your desired program partner.

I've been averaging at least one survey invite a week, and even if I don't pass the screener I'm still credited with 25-50 Opinion points. The numbers add up, and for a little bit of work now and again it's quite reasonable to earn enough to end up with nice bonus in your program of choice each year.

The points transfer works much like any other partner program for point transfers. You are issued points in their currency (opinion points in their case), for which amounts of these can be traded for a reward.

Rates vary from partner to partner, here's the list of partners and conversion ratio which I've manually extracted from their website:

  • Air France/Flying Blue, Continental, BMI, Delta, Germanwings and US Airways: 4 OP - 1 Mile/point ratio
  • Emirates: 10:1
  • Hilton: 2:1 down to 1.6:1 depending on transfer size
  • Iberia: 40:1
  • Priority Club: Starts at 3:1, goes down to 2.5:1 depending on transfer size
You need a minimum of 2k in opinion points to initiate a reward transfer regardless of carrier/program. Once you have accrued the amount you wish to transfer, you log into the website and follow the process through the redemption section.

Points would be credited to the destination account as soon as all the stuff happens in the respective backends.

Thanks. That's really helpful.

Sounds relatively harmless for a few extra points.

Can back up thewinchester's comments.

Same here. Online surveys, ability to credit to various FF/hotel programs. Not a scam.

Note the e-rewards to PC is 3:1. And I only seem to get about one survey a month.

I joined a year or so ago, and have only seen 2 surveys.

I've received more than that, but I think I've only ever got to jump out of the gates on 1 survey, the rest it's been thanks, but no thanks, here's 25 pts.

I have picked up about 3000 PC Points, but that was around an hour of surveys.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Also points expire, very frustrating to be edging up to the 2,000 minimum needed for redemption and then lose most of them!

I am also on E-Rewards as well. They don't really have that many surveys for you to do, so it is hardly a major points earner. Only good for some topups.

It is not a scam but very hard to earn e-rewards points especially for us in Australia unless you are in a high profile job. A lot of the time one needs to find the tricks in the surveys and answer the way "they" want them answered and from personal experience many more surveys will turn up in your inbox. Also a lot of my points were due to expire at the begnning of the year but I have just been given more opportunities and points did not expire.

Thanks for the thread as I just remembered to transfer 2,000 e-Rewards points to 500 Delta Skymiles.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I signed up and have received my first survey. The sign up process asked me to nominate the number of surveys I want to get per week. Sounds like I should have picked the 10 surveys per week option. ;)

I've been getting a couple of surveys recently and was checking out the website last night. There was an offer of 350 PC points for free in the rewards section. Just thought any other members might be interested.

Important information for e-rewards users

Gary Left is reporting at his blog View from the Wing, that e-rewards will be deploying advanced tracking cookies from October.

If you do not opt out of these cookies, they can and will be used to tracks the patterns of online behavior of e-Rewards Members.

If you don't want this to occur, you will need to login to the e-rewards website, and update your profile. On the bottom of this page, you can specifically select to opt out of these advanced tracking cookies.

Thanks for posting, I have to agree it's a pretty pointless program (ka-boom tish) and certainly not good enough that you want them tracking your movements.
