Hi Guys,

I've booked a flight from Sydney to Paris yesterday night using my points. I was on waitlist for the sector Sydney-Singapore and it was made available this morning!

Was I lucky or does this happen this quick usually?

Also do I still earn miles on awards flight?

It normally happens within 3-4 days, however lots of people do report of it happening reasonably quickly.

You will not earn points on award flights.
