Hi,

I am wondering if it will be possible to link two separate bookings together? I have a rtn MEL-SIN-MEL with QF and also have a 9W SIN-DEL-SIN rtn. I think I have three questions which I hope one will prove fruitful. Note, I normally book on a single ticket but due to pricing and flying F on QF and Y on 9W it meant two bookings.
1. Would I be able to link both bookings - I think no but worth the ask.
2. Would I be able to check my bags all the way through from MEL to DEL - I am hoping yes as they offer codeshare services. I have done similar but only on JQ from MEL-SYD (intl dom conn) then onto BKK on QF.
3. If 1 and 2 are no go's I guess I have to rely on QF landing on time at 2110 in order to make my 2300 flight. Normally it does but touch wood.

I hope anyone out there has some positive news re at least question 2.

I'm guessing you would be able to get them linked - although I have never done that. And I am pretty sure even if they didn't do that, they'd be able to check them through for you. you'd never clear customs in SIN and re-check otherwise!!

mmm, yes I just noticed that Jet have a 75 min close for check in so no way I would make it. I think my safest bet now is to book SIN-BOM-SIN with QF and then do a BOM-DEL-BOM. I wanted to avoid that but that's life I guess. I will contact QF tomorrow and see what they can do, or will do or are allowed to do...

Or would a TA be able to book both and put them under the same PNR? Problem solved then.

thnaks, I am all sorted on this issue., Decided to book SIN-BOM-SIN with QF as has a 2.5 hr connection time with QF9 on way up nad a 1.5 hr connection time coming back and also i can check in and get interline tags all the way. It si on 2 separate bookings just because so cheap to buy J fares to BOMM, cost me 1300 AUD rtn. I am then flying BOM-DEL-BOm with 9W so all ends well.
