Yeah I know, very funny eh? (Flies vs Flys) however, seriously, is there an airline who flys into MOO? I have looked at REX, SHARP and QF but no joy... All help appreciated!

It's a company facility. Apparently they are pretty secretive as well so I beleive it is hard to even get premission to land there. I have no idea who runs their flights but I can check and find out.

Edit well no need to check.

Apparently Cobham (Air North) and Chartair both run charter flights, Cobham being from ADL and Chartair being from ASP.

I wonder if there is any RPT ops to MOO, I'm guessing not

Josh:p

That all came from a Santos info booklet that I found on the net

You did not read it very well then :p:

All Adelaide / Moomba / Ballera / Brisbane and Intrafield flights may be booked by
contacting NJS Flight Bookings and advising the following information

Cobham being the new name of NJS! ASP is road only according to the doco.

Cobham is a totally different company from Airnorth.

Cobham (formerly NJS - National Jet Systems) operate B717 Qantas Link services ex DRW to GOV/CNS/ASP/PER as are classed as a contractor of QF ie all flight crew and cabin crew hold Cobham ASIC's. Their HQ is in ADL.

Airnorth's parent company Capiteq purchased both Airlines of South Australia & Emu Airways in Oct 2003 & along with Airnorth traded under the banner of Regional however all airlines still displayed their own livery on aircraft fuselages.

Two years later Capiteq announced that Emu & ASA would cease trading. ASA at some stage may have have charter flights to MOO.

There was one DRW TL engineer who had a high viz Regional Link vest on who, with a black texta crossed out Regional and replaced it with the word missing!

The parent company of Cobham (Cobham Plc) are very well known for their rebreathers and aircraft oxygen systems as well as defence contracts, in some way the NJS ops do seem out of place with the rest of the company.

After re-reading my previous post It became obvious to me that I sohuld proofread things before I post them, I though that I typed "airnorth/com/au" into safari and was directed to Cobham, I didn't realise that I had actually typed "nationaljet/com/au

Apologises for my stuff up:oops:

Spell checking is switched on in my safari but I ignore it most of the time
