Virgin Blue B737 livery colors?

Google notes that this was VH-CZQ, an ex-AN B733. At one point the nosecone was damaged and replaced with a red nosecone, which looks somewhat ridiculous in photos. The inverse paint job seems to have been a one-off; can't find the reason for it though.
 
I think it may have been a temporary a/c brought in to rapidly increase the fleet size when Ansett Airlines went under the day after 9/11.....

hence the "temporary" livery.

in my 11 months down under I didn't get a chance to fly the blue 50th B737 with DJ

now have another reason to come back... lol
