Why doesn't Qantas simply re-configure the oxygen mask system to become some sort of central tube feeding system? Be sure to fit your own feeding system before helping others.

So glad to know I'm not the only one who ends up with my meal landing on parts that tend to stick out further than my mouth! Perhaps we should all bring a plastic bib - works for young children.

There is a reason they give you a serviette, I normally tuck it into the top of my shirt so that when the inevitable happens my shirt still remains clean.

If you position yourself right (and I'm 6"2) and you place the serviette in a diamond shape over your belly you can just about get it to reach the meal tray.

It's funny though, I do believe I am just about the only one on the plane that does it.

I am with you. Tuck napkin into shirt and eat without fear.

Gross! Sounds like something out of an Alien's movie!

It's when you are tall and also female that things are difficult. Their serviette is so thin food goes through it!

Hmmm. just to add to the feedback I am a 'hold dish near mouth" person also, and not enthused about having to hoping my plastic fork will transfer food from my coffee table to my mouth - in turbulence.

Cheers skip
