Yes - you can ring the AA call centre in Brisbane to make bookings.

I really wouldn't though. The AA Call centre in Australia charges $60 telephone booking fee whilst the US reservations charges USD20 ( approx $22.50 ) and UK charged GBP20 ($33.50)

Taxes are the same however AA does not charge
Fuel Surcharges
YR Surcharge
GST on domestic flights if booked through call centre other than Brisbane


On Trans Tasman / Domestics that is around a $7-$10 saving over QF taxes , so not much. On a international trip other than TT , then it can be a fair bit cheaper

Thanks for catching that Dave. I usually ring the US myself for this reason.
