Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

ok, have just started the game of trying to get some points for these, starting with gift cards from qf marketplace for everyday shopping.
could end up getting this category anyway with various qantas shopping or promotions at other partners in this category, but seemed a good place to start.

QF shopping / market place aren’t in the “everyday shopping”.

Woolies EDR is you’re friend there.

If you’re thinking “Retail & Lifestyle”, then QF Wine is the easiest for most. For non-drinkers, a 10x promo on Apple gift cards ($100) works…

I read it as buy woolies gift voucher from QF Market place and then spend them as part of your normal shop therefore hitting the same transaction

Well, that probably works!

Does QF Market place have Woolies GCs?

I already have both categories knocked out of the park. They’re quite easy anyway.

I would love to hear someone from QF loyalty explain the difference between "shopping" and "retail".
It was easy enough for me to get mixed up. Yes, edr makes that category easy.

Yes. Just want to use the easy options in case they're taken away (for example, these were nerfed from 3ppd to 1 recently).

“Everyday” shopping?
That's just branding to suit Woolworths.
No one buys from HelloFresh every day.
Now if they called that "groceries" it might make more sense.
But "retail" and "shopping" are synonyms.
So there should really be an adjective in front of "retail" as well.

They are going away with the new program, but the Q&A section refers to that change coming in 2027. Looks like you are ok on the other front with Platinum & P1 bonii as well:

So, I have until the end of the year (so between 8th and 31st of December) to take that extra flight to trigger the extra, and what will sadly be my last, loyalty bonus of 50 SCs?

Was WeBull previously listed? Seems to have vanished (if it was ever there).
Webull is back!

There was an intro offer of 1000 QF pts if you deposited $500 or more in cash/shares for > 1 mth. Is that offer still around?

I did it a few months ago but can’t see it now.

I've got two flights on 1st Jan, so, either way, I'm guessing these won't count towards the loyalty bonus?

I booked a flight ahead of the 8th Dec because I was just going to be short of a loyalty bonus for that exact reason.
My gut feel is that it will be count and can be earnt this membership year and once the new earn/retain level is in play it will be replaced by the roll over

We don’t really know - it just says ‘in 2027’
True.

I'm definitely thinking about doing that to guarantee it. I'll try to find spare time (and money) to do this.
