At the local coffee shop this morning, someone had previously read the communal copy of the 'Hun' and kindly marked up all the AI errors in the review of the Odessey. Then left a caustic message to the journalists credited with writing the review. Had to laugh while looking at all the grammatical mistakes.

Was at work trivia last night. Question arrived...

"Which airline was the first to fly the A380 superjumbo?"

I immediately pointed at our group's scribe and gave the answer, Singapore.

What I zoned out on was that the announcer hadn't finished asking the question.... the question was a multichoice one! Options were: British, Singapore, Emirates and Qantas.

I'd given the answer before the choices were even announced. Team mates were stunned.

LTIL? Triumphing in my NRL SuperCoach Grand Final game!

What a rollercoaster of a weekend of footy?!?! My team went from being in a strong position, to being almost out for the count, to then clawing back some ground and building a tenuous lead that gave me a sniff of a win, to then having some results go my way during the final NRL games of the weekend.

So "The Eel-ites" have secured Premiership glory, top dollars in our prize pool, and a bonus $$ prize for (somehow???) achieving the top score of the round.

Awww. Yesterday’s QF MEL-SYD the guy in the row in front of me - maybe mid twenties? - was offered the snack (cheese and biscuits) and declined. When the drinks trolley came he was offered wine and he asked ‘how much is it?’

I flew back from Berlin on Monday on QR to Adelaide. thanks to @serfty he had mentioned seen an Y award from Berlin-Sydney which was around 90,000 points after doing some research I found that BER-DOH-ADL was 80,000 I only had 83,000 so that worked better.
It was better than spending the $2000 to $3000 that other options were going for economy.
i find Europe AM to land in Australia east coast PM next day lessens the jetlag.
