Strictly speaking you're not allowed to take food away from the lounge.

What about if I just wanted to quickly grab something and then board the plane due to time constraints?
I thought Virgin Australia allowed people to bring coffee onto the plane?

Monday 21/9. The menu was inaccurate in the sense it hadn't been changed although the options had so I went with the 'non-veg' option which tasted like beef.

What was the "protein", if it wasn't beef? Because from the angle shown, it's enough to fool a few.

QF has allowed me to bring coffee onto the plane on more than one occasion.

As far as I know, cabin crew as of now dont dont do searches, neither does AFP on a normal basis.
If you meaning eating it on board, it might work, it might not, as you then have to get rid of the wrapper.
And a thought, you might need an oblong plastic container to take it from the lounge to the plane, trust me, wrapping it in mouth tissues does not work, as its too small and flimsy.
They dont provide fabric siervettes in the lounge anyway.
Good luck in trying it, if you do a bit of pre planning, and plan to eat it on arrival at the hotel or at home, probably 100% works.
On the plane, not sure what the (fa) crew would say, maybe nothing.

Just time it so you can get another panini and covertly pass it to @LionKing for their next onward flight. But keep the chips!

I was there yesterday and there were two jars of the chips on the high bench near to the main food service area.

Failing that, I’ve previously ask for, and received, crisps only from the panini bar.

The ones at the bar and main food area are normally regular potato chips right? The panini bar chips are always kettle chips.
