Got these on QDiscovery and PE. Limited number of hotels but I see you can book the Pullman in Melbourne and request the Swan room.

Gah, that's annoying for me. I only received the United Airlines offer which I won't use. I would use the Korean Air if it were offered to me. I have a Velocity escape card, so not sure if that's the reason why it wasn't offered...

Not on my Ultimate (which I use all the time) but on my Elevate card
Have a Christmas booking at Novotel Twin Waters so for 80 bucks off, will use Elevate

Yes @SYD but not recently - early last year at Movenpick Miss Mi Melbourne , once automatically credited. Another time, manual credit via contacting Accor

Darn, can only hope the offer becomes available at a later date for my amex velocity escape card...

Sometimes? Same sort of thing as, say, QF Hotels.

The last offer a couple of months ago was $2000/$200 but that coincided with a DSC offer. I like them for booking hotels in country areas.

Like Qantas Hotels, they can be quite good for booking country motels who otherwise have dubious/non existent online booking options of their own. Velocity also pretty frequently have bonus points offers for booking through them, if that's relevant to your interests.
